In the past couple of weeks I've played around with several blog designs. I plan on making alot more, I just have not had the time to yet. These are alot of fun to design and something I really enjoy. I made headers to match for some of them but not all. If anyone wants a custom, personal background for your own blog, just let me know!

New Epson PictureMate Dash

This is my most recent purchase for my business. I am offering Announcements, Save the Dates, Invitations and more with 4x6 Photo Cards. The Epson PictureMate Personal Photo Lab Dash was voted the #1 printer for photos. I was soo excited to get this! I found the best price on amazon.com and it was shipping to me in a day. I have already tried it out on Graduation Invitations and they look beautiful. The print quality is stunning. I only had two issues... 1. I thought that I would be able to print on 8 1/2 x11 photo sheets but this is a tiny printer for only 4x6's. 2. The printer only came with about 20 photo cards and enough ink for just those. So I'm off to buy some more paper and ink!

Working On Website

It has taken a little longer then I thought sorting thru all the details for my new site. I am so excited to get it up and live, but I am soo inpatient for everyone to see it! Here is what the layout of my new site will look like once I get it online. I have changed the look of the site soo many times in the past month, but this one I am happy with. It is extremely hard to design for yourself. I want to display want I can do, make it fun, creative but also professional. What do you all think of my design? Designs & More Business Card

I am finally able to order my business cards! YAY.. it's an exciting feeling. One more thing to check off my list. I had to wait to order them until I bought my domain name for my website. Cannot have a business card without the website name added! That is another HUGE item to check off my list... my domain name. Finally www.designsandmore.net is MINE! It's official as of today. It's going to take a few days to get it up and going but atleast the space is mine. Here is my business card layout. I forgot to add a border for viewing.. but you should get the idea!

Blog Background and Header Design

I am really having fun designing templates for blog backgrounds and headers. There are so many themes and color schemes that I can get a little overwhelmed trying to decide which ones to work on first! I am wanted to make as many as possible for others to use on their blogs. I am hoping to have a section on this blog for blog themes to choose from. This one below is a blog background and header that I designed today.

Digital Scrapbooking

I started out scrapbooking with all the cardstock, stamps, inks, stickers, embellishments and so on. I really liked it but it is horrible dragging all that out and cleaning it up afterwards. I have books filled with traditional scrapbooking. Then I started noticing all the wonderful pages people were starting to do over the computer. I thought they looked beautiful. I already had photoshop from all my design work, so I thought I'd give it a try. I sat there and just stared at the first page that I did. It didn't require lugging all those supplies and piling my dining room table with it all. It doesn't require going to the store and spending what extra money I had on pages worth of embellishments. In fact it is alot more eco-friendly this way. No scraps to throw away, no glues, its paperless. Except for printing them out on photo paper. Will I scrapbook traditionally again? Of course, I have books to finish and supplies to use up. But I will most defiently create a ton of digital scrapbook pages and albums for myself and for others! Graduation Invitation

I wanted to share a graduation invitation that I worked on today. I thought this was such a great photo to use. I loved the purple converse.. this made for a great color scheme! The photographer was Katzer Photographry. I designed the graphics and layout.

Announcements and Invitation Photo Cards

I am getting ready to launch my site with all of my services that I provide. I will be designing photo cards for Baby boy/girl, Sonograms, Baby Showers, Themed Birthdays, Save the Dates, Weddings, Christmas, New Years, Easter/Spring, Valentines Day, Summer, School, Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Addresses, Thank you's, and more. These will be printed on 4x6 photo cards. I've shown a sample below of a custom design that I did for a baby announcement.
